Angel Flores

Angel Flores, age 63, passed away in his home on January 14, 2021. Angel was born on September 22, 1957 in East Chicago, Indiana and raised by his mother Esperanza Cuellar, father Rodrigo Flores, and stepfather Julio C. Cuellar.

Angel was a compassionate and selfless man. His love and commitment to helping others was abundant. His passion to learn was evident through his academic career at Ivy Tech Community College.

Both his knowledge and wisdom were admirable to many. Angel’s love for his family was indisputable. He always remembered the little details about those he cared about and never failed to be present in their lives.

Angel was preceded in death by his mother Esperanza Cuellar and father Rodrigo Flores.

He is survived by his brothers and sisters Larry Flores, Sonya Delgado, Laura (Carlos) Arceo, Ida (John) Moreno & Yolanda Cordero, stepfather Julio C. Cuellar, and his many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Angel’s caring and kindhearted personality brought a light into the world.

His presence will be deeply missed.

A private cremation will be held at Acevez Funeral Home.
