Eddie J. Stone

Eddie J. Stone, a dedicated member of Labor Union Local #645 and a beloved family man, passed away on April 1, 2025, at the age of 35. Born on July 14, 1989, in Munster, Indiana, Eddie lived a life characterized by hard work and an immense capacity for generosity.

Throughout his life, Eddie was known for his unwavering commitment to his craft and his ever-ready spirit; as he often said, he was always ready so he didn’t have to get ready. Eddie's heart of gold was evident in his willingness to give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. He was blessed with a great sense of humor and a passion for fun, qualities that made him the best dad imaginable to his children.

Eddie is survived by his loving wifey Hannah, and their four cherished children: Aliina, Allie Alanni, and Avinn. He is also remembered fondly by his sisters Samantha and Nicole, his brother Timothy, and his nephew Alan and niece Emma. His aunt Sherry and dear cousins Kellsie and Sarah hold him in their hearts as they navigate life without his vibrant presence.

Eddie was preceded in death by his mother Sherry Stone, father Timothy Russel, uncle Joey, and grandmother Mow. He will be forever missed, a cherished soul who impacted the lives of many with his kindness and laughter.

A visitation to honor Eddie will take place at Acevez Funeral Home in Hammond, Indiana, on April 9, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of a truly remarkable individual whose legacy of love and laughter will endure in the hearts of all who knew him.
