Edwin "Papi" Lebron

Edwin Santana Lebron, age 65, of East Chicago, passed away suddenly, leaving behind a legacy of love and kindness

He is survived by his daughters, Amanda (Lashea) Collins and Rosemary Lebron; 11 grandchildren; four brothers, Angel (late Carmen) Lebron, Alex (late Zaida) Santana, Frank (Santa Feliciano) Santana, and George (Antonia) Lebron; and his sister, Eustacia (Carlos) Amaro. Edwin is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins

He was preceded in death by his parents, Cantalicio Santana Lebron and Emerita Rivera Vasquez; his brothers, Juan Santana and Manuel Santana; and his sisters, Carmen Santos and Adelina Reyes.

Edwin's greatest joys were his family, his love for salsa music, and his passion for boxing. He was devoted to his grandchildren, and his love for life was evident in his music and his warm spirit. Known for his big heart, Edwin was a warm, loving man who was always ready with a smile. He will forever be remembered for his generosity, warmth, and devoted love for his family

He will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him
