Gloria B. Mendoza

Gloria passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at Community Hospital, Munster.

She was the loving mother of three children: Paul Mendoza Jr, Guadalupe Mendoza and Alyssa Mendoza; 5 grandchildren Guadalupe Jr, Alyanna, Theodore, Jaycob and Lydia. Survived by one brother Hector (Elma) and one sister Maria. Nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and numerous cousins.

Preceded in death by husband Paul Mendoza Sr; parents Theodore & Maria; brother Theodore Jr, sister Olga. She was a lifelong resident of East Chicago/Munster, worked as teacher’s aide at McKinley Elementary.

She was a devoted mother, homemaker, aunt and grandmother. She enjoyed cooking, baking and spending time with her grandchildren. Gloria will be sadly missed by her family and many friends.

A visitation will be held Saturday, July 25, 2020 from 3-7 pm at Acevez Funeral Home, East Chicago.

A Private Cremation will follow.

 In lieu of flowers, monetary donations to the family will be greatly appreciated.
