Jesus Carmen Fernandez

Jesus Carmen Fernandez passed away on January 17th, 2024 to rejoice in heaven with his wife Enedina Fernandez and late great son, Martin Fernandez. He is survived by his daughters, Gloria Rosas Fernandez, Juana Madrigal Fernandez, his son Jose Ramon Fernandez, grandchildren Eric, Juan Jr, Giovanni, Aldo, Anabel, Jesús Jr, Evangelina, Maria Jesus, Daniel, Lluvia, Brisa, Estrella, Leidy, Jonatan, Nelson, Daisy, and great-grandchildren Emiliano, Esperanza, Adriel Giovanni, and Eliana Luna.

Jesus was a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather to us. In many ways, he lived a full life. He built a family, had kids, watched them grow old, watched us (his grandkids) as kids and adults and even was able to see his great grandkids at their youth. In many ways, family was one of the greatest things he had in his life.

During his last few years, my grandpa and grandma had to make the difficult decision to travel back to Mexico for his son’s unfortunate passing and funeral, knowing it would be tougher to come back to the States. Still, they went to say their goodbyes. His wife would pass months before they were able to get permission to travel back to the States, where he would spend the last of his life here.

While our grandma had left him, we never did and he spent the rest of his years under the loving care of his children and grandchildren. We were lucky enough to have a few years left with him in which he was able to see his grandson get married. We were also able to make sure he was never alone until his last breath. He joined his wife again on January 17th, 2024
