Joaquin Flores

Joaquin Flores was born in Gurabo, Puerto Rico. He is preceded in death by his mother Maria Mercado, and father Ramon Flores. He is survived by his wife Juana “Guany” Flores, daughter Noemi (Elyse) Flores, son Noel (Leticia) Flores, daughter Carmen (Alberto) Garcia, son Luis (Darlene) Flores, grandchildren Mia, Marissa, and Isaac, as well as many extended family members.

Joaquin dedicated his life to God and family. He cared for his beloved wife Guany until his last breath. He was known to many as the hardest working man they knew,  and retired from LTV Steel after many years of dedicated service in 1998.

Joaquin will be remembered as humble man of very few words, whose heart and actions spoke volumes. His resilience was something to be admired and he will be missed by many.
