Joseph Klisiak Sr.

Joseph passed away suddenly at his home, Merrillville, IN. Friday, October 11, 2024.

Born and raised in Hammond, Indiana, Joe was a down-to-earth and fun-loving guy who loved to make others laugh. Taking on many roles in his lifetime, he was a son, brother, father, grandfather, and friend. Joe spent many years as a dedicated, Union sheet metal worker for Local 20. 

He put much of his intelligence to work tinkering in his shop and working on small motors. Joe enjoyed riding the Harley Davidson motorcycle he built until he encountered life-changing health obstacles at the age of 49, though he refused to let those stop him. He will be missed by many and is now lovingly reunited with his daughter, Samantha.

Survived by: Son, Joseph Klisiak Jr, married to Megan Klisiak; grandchildren Joseph Klisiak III, Samuel Klisiak and Wrigley Klisiak; brothers Michael (Linda) Klisiak Sr. and Robert Klisiak; close friend Deborah Lankford 

A private cremation was held.
