Frankie, children and family of Pam,
I was shocked and heart broken to learn that Pam had left us. I know she is now having a reunion with loved ones she has been longing to see.
As you may know Pam and I have been friends since Pam was about 5 years old. She has remained my best and dearest friend ever since. We loved each other dearly and although we were dear friends we felt more like sisters. She and I have shared so much over the years joys, sorrows, secrets. She would get so mad at me if I missed her call and didn't call her back but she understood me and knew why. When I would finally call her back we would happily chat away. From losing loved ones in the past we always said I love you before hanging up . I am comforted in knowing those were the last words we spoke to each other. She took a piece of my heart with her.
Children please be there for your father as much as possible and phone him often. I know his heart is broken and he will be lonely. After 60 years of togetherness I know he will be lost without her. And children, be kind to each other and stay in touch with each other. Pam would want you too.
