Ramiro (Melo) Ramos, 60, of East Chicago, passed away on Friday, October 09, 2020. A man who was big hearted and always willing to help others, who would fix your car for a few laughs and some beers.

A little brother that enjoyed a day of hunting and fishing. A big brother that did not let anyone mess with his baby sister. A pride less father who would do what he could to help his children.

An uncle who was always clean with his hair slicked back and comb in his sock; his big laugh and dancing will be missed.

He is survived by his daughters Melissa (Steve) Johnson, Michelle (Jay) Jordan, Ciara Ramos, Estefany Ramos, Cassandra Ramos, and son Ramiro Ramos Jr., Grandchildren Jose and Annemarie. His sisters Blanca Ramos, Darlene (Ronald) Montez, Diana (Jesse) Covarrubias, Brothers Jesse (Jackie) Ramos, Alfonso (Roberta) Ramos, Thomas (Josephine) Ramos, George Ramos, Rojelio Ramos, and lots of nieces and nephews

Preceded in death by his grandchild, brother Patricio Ramos, Parents Joaquin and Cesaria Ramos.

A PRAYER SERVICE WILL BE AT 6:30PM WITH REV EDUARDO MALAGON OFFICIATING

A Private Cremation will follow.
