Terry Lee Wilkins

Terry Lee Wilkins age 66, of East Chicago passed away on Sunday, December 20, 2020 surrounded by his loving family. Terry was born in East Chicago, Indiana on August 4, 1954 to Caroline Racz and Alfred Lee Wilkins.

Terry worked at Youngstown as overhead crane operator, switchman for railroad, and also worked at Inland Steel. He then went on to Chicago Technical Institute for Satellite and Cable Technical Engineer. He wired skyscraper buildings for cable and satellite in Chicago, also did underground wiring lines and pole wiring in Indiana.

He was always very supportive of all his children and grandchildren. He was always there whenever they called or needed him. We all loved him very much.

Siblings are Cheryl Lee Wilkins, Michael Lee Wilkins, Alfred Lee Wilkins, Debbie Lee Wilkins, Kimberly Lee Wilkins, Tina Lee Wilkins, and Danny Valdez

Proceeded in death by daughter Jennifer Marie Wilkins-Puentez, brother Danny Valdez, sister Debbie Lee Wilkins.

He is survived by son Erik Anthony Wilkins, son Terry-Lee Wilkins Jr., and daughter Krystal Rose Wilkins.

Survived by cherished grandchildren Erik, Precious, Nautica, Jaylen, Alicia, Aliyah, Dallus-Lee, Messiah-Lee, Heaven-Lee, Mariana, Manuel, Isaiah, Mariah, Nathaniel, and Alani.

Survived by cherished great grandchildren Deliyana, Angel, Maleni, Adriana, Tigen, and Amina.

There are no words that could ever describe truly how much you meant to all of us…a brother, a husband, a best friend, a father, an uncle, a cousin, a grandfather, a mentor, but more than anything a person with a great heart that treated all of us like a true friend. We all love you so much. Until we meet again, not a single day will go by that you are not in our thoughts.

The visitation will have required face masks and 25 people maximum at one time for the visitation.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the family would be greatly appreciated.
